Today my life begin

The photos above was taken on top of the infamous Wave Rock in Hyden, WA; after going through some Rock Walks. Its pretty spectacular I guess, the landform looks like a giant surf wave that was believed to have formed more than 2,700 million years ago before the dinosaurs, rawr!

Here's us infront of the Hippo's yawn - the rock that resembles a yawning hippo lol, that's that. Went to Mulka's cave afterward, unfortunately my mood wasn't that good in the afternoon = = damn you menstrual cramps!
In anyway, I would like to thank both Kean and Ayaka for bringing me and Hiro along to their one-day roadtrip :) It was actually pretty enjoyable experience,  and~.. oh! My 1st roadtrip (with friends) in Australia!

Lots of love

Btw, so many things have changed these past few months...
Good and bad~..

Atleast,
what's more important is that,
I found myself a group of great friends
Thank you for going through all the troubles preparing a surprise event for me you all (especially Hiro, Ayaka and Kean)
Lots of love to all of you.

Uh oh, watch this video and listen to Yusuke and others singing (*horribly) for me! :D
Be aware of your speaker volume, coz its gonna be a li'l bit nasty to the ears (hehehehe~..)

These people really make me happy  Our time together may be short, I definitely treasure these moments forever.
Hugs to Tingting too!

Birthday and Spaghetti

My youngest sister has turned 18 three days ago.
My mum went off for her business trip in Cambodia, my older brother went for Hajj and my younger sister Yana is currently studying in KL.
It was just the 4 of us - including me, Yaka, Malina and Babah.
So we invited our cousins from next door to join our very small celebration at home.

Spaghetti, cake and new Studio Ghibli's film - 'Arrietty'

Made a video out of this event, it's been a while ne?

Lots of love

Let me tell you a story..

When my family were away to study in uk at my very young age,
my grandparents took care of me in Brunei.
As a result, I got really attached to my mum's side of the family and kept on staying over at their place in Jerudong.

I used to follow my grandparents everywhere and listened to their stories.
My grandfather had a lot of things to tell about his life. They were always so interesting.  I especially love listening to his childhood stories, life was really hard during his time.

Back then, my world seemed to be timeless.
At times I would spent all day sitting on my grandparent's verandah..
and stare into the distant field.

And then I started to daydream....
that I would be there, walking through that long grass field.

Then I saw a boy.
It was my grandfather, as a child

  I went back in time...

And so I approached him.

We became best of friends.
I showed him the latest gadgets I had, and he was so amazed.
That time there were no such things.
At the end of the day, I told him that,
"Im actually your granddaughter who came from the future!
One day you will become an amazing grandfather!"

I don't remember what was his reaction.

But one thing for sure, I knew it was something I longed for.
I loved my grandfather so much to the point I wished we were the same age.
I would imagine about our meeting over and over again.

Til now...
Everytime I look at the distant field, I would still remember.
..as if it really happened in the past.
My grandfather, Haji Noorkhan...
passed away yesterday morning.
I am devastated cause I am here in Aberdeen :'( But it is his time to go.
Semoga Allah mencucuri rahmat keatas roh Nini. Amin.
I looked into the sky and remember all the great memories..
Funny enough, the grass field was the first thing that popped up in my mind.

I love you always Nini Jerudong.

Zaimah

To my very best friend, I wish I am there in New Zealand to celebrate your birthday!

Zaimah and I were friends since year1 high school (age 10,11?), I can still remember the birthdays we celebrated some of the years together. The big/small parties, the surprises, the friends, the gifts.. no matter what we were always stuck together.
Im glad the sweetest person alive is mine.
We loved to talk our dreams and ambition eversince we were kids. While my ambition changed every year as we grew up, Zaimah's dream remained the same.
Ambition: Doctor
We had totally different personalities - Zaimah always worked hard with her studies, and as for me, I was a lazy bum. I know I wouldn't reach this stage if it is not because of her. I tried to keep up just so that we could always be together.

Now she is in her 4th year as the Medicinal student in NZ. Zai never gives up, she always tried her best to achieve her dreams. Its hard being far apart from each other, it really is. I still daydream how nice it'd be if we study in the same university.

Ahhh~  missing those days.

I love you Zai! :)

Goodbye Totoro.. T_T

Everything was decided in one day all of the sudden .
My flatmate Sa, has always been allergic to animals, yet she let Totoro stayed in our place for a while before summer holiday. Her allergy was getting worst day by day to the point her nose started to bleed.
I had to take Totoro away as soon as possible. Unfortunately no one is free at this time, there's only 1 choice left.

Animal adoption.
Then again, I was planning to give him away this summer anyway~ (Because last summer cost me 400pounds already. Im just a student!).
Plus my parents never like the idea of me keeping an animal in my room, its not healthy. They're right.

Its just a lil bit too early, Im just not ready to let him go.
But I have to, letting go is a part of life I need to face.

About my guinea pig,
I bought him at Aberdeen's 'Pets at Home' February last year. (Link1) (Link2)
He was so tiny and he had this cute mohawk hair :)
He grew a lot eversince.

And look at him now.
A giant black bushy creature.

Its time to lets him go....

I gave him back to the place where I found him.
Good thing they have an adoption centre in Aberdeen.
Filling a form with detailed information about Totoro.
'Reason: Owner's allergy (?)'
'About me: No hugs, just talk'
'Loves: Parsley and Yogurt drops'
'Hates: Being hold on to'

Totoro loves to play around my room whenever he wanted.
He's usually very noisy - asking for food, sings along everytime i sang~ and he talks back everytime I talked to him.
But i am not allowed to pick him up! (only by force)
But he loves face massages lol. :P

Peter, thank you for helping me out sending Totoro at the very last minute ;)

Be a good boy Totoro...

Hopefully you'll get a new lovable owner who loves to talk a lot like you do.

Im missing you

Go Vote! \(^o^)/

I was not free to blog a birthday greeting on the very exact day ^_^ but atleast i called her~ got to hear my dad too... sigh, i wish i was there.

Happy belated birthday to my mum. Semoga panjang umur mami T_T
I love you very much!

If you ever notice, I have change my blog badge (on the right hand side). So people~.. apa lagi, go get it! ^^
Owh wait.
Actually, I have made 8 badges to choose from altogether. :P Same, but different haha.... Ok, i dont think you see any difference between 5 and 6, except for the flower. XD Ah, i just wanna make it even ba~
At 1st, i wanna combine my real photo with my cartoon-self as a badge. It turned out rather annoying don't you think? Too much colour, lame or is it just plain vain? *_*

But then again~ its a pity to throw it all out without showing to you guys... and as you know it, everyone have their own preference. Thus, i made a poll for the very 1st time! \(^o^)/ I mean it would be really nice if you would let me know which one you like best! The poll is on the right hand side, so go ahead~ give a click for me ^^ Thank you very much. The most votes will be my permanent badge for the whole year.

*Omg, I have change*

Owh~ something else.
I have never announced the fact that... i bought an iphone 3gs 3 weeks ago! Im sorry family :P I always forgot to tell everytime baa~.. Must be a shock because I always said I hated iphones - simply because everyone has it! Now~ ahaha *malu, korek lubang and tapuk*

See - my old mobile broke down, my so-ketinggalan ipod shuffle pun broken and~ my dell laptop - 3 years oredi yo, nda tau berapa lama lagi nyawanya. Internet is everything to me. I guess buying an iphone might be a good option after all.

And yea it was,
I never thought how convinient it can be!
And talk about the amount of games and applications you get to choose from!!!

So here i am, currently addicted to:Virtual villagers is a real time survival game. You have to train the villagers how to fish, make fire, build, research and even mate. 1 hour is equivalent to 1 year, so you have to keep eye on them from time to time. The 1st few days was so crazy for me, karak berabez yo. But now, population and food stable already, so i dont care much about them anymore.
Another game is:
I Love Katamari!
I've always been a fan of Katamari :D Its my favoarite game in PS2 really. So i was really dead excited when I found this game available in iphone!
The iphone version is pretty hard tho.

^_^ Hehe ^_^

Brothers-Sisters-Tic-Tac-Toe

Tic-tac-toe
~ i guess that was one of the most popular games back when I was a kid~Especially when you could draw the game all over your little sister. :)

So there i was stressed on my research report two nights ago when I saw this one memorable picture of me and my siblings back in 1995.
A sudden joyful bliss attack~ I smiled all night thinking about the fun we had in the past. (^_^)

Its great to have a big family - you will never be lonely~ and you will never get bored. We, brothers and sisters always had each other to play with.

So here's the picture.
Face painting madness~ We always made our own Halloween party (Brunei doesn't celebrate Halloween for your info) and painted ourselves with normal watercolours! (Awu rusak mua eh) Now you know why I love to face paint? :P

Of course, the younger ones were always the victims in the play. But this only happened when we were children really~ hehehe.

Anyway~ don't you think 2-year-old facepainted Malina with tic-tac-toe on her body is like the CUTEST THING you've ever seen?????
:puteh_2::puteh_2::puteh_2::puteh_2::puteh_2:

Sigh~ if only I could go back in time and picik pipinya kuat-kuat~.. ^_^
